This hippeastrum lily has unexpectedly appeared in our garden. I am taking it as a sign that this year's surprises are going to be good ones.

Oh to have a garden where something like this could stay hidden until it got to this size! If only I could transfer the green of my envy into my thumb. While I like your train of thought, I hope my surprises aren't going to be along the lines of rotten tomatoes...
